ZIGI – MTV Video Music Awards 2022 alias MTV VMA 2022 mengumumkan daftar nominasi pada Selasa, 26 Juli 2022. Total ada 22 nominasi yang disajikan. Seiring dengan nominasi yang ada, maka MTV juga sudah membuka voting untuk penggemar.

BTS Raih 4 Kategori MTV VMA 2022
Baru saja comeback dengan album Proof pada 10 Juni 2022, BTS berhasil masuk 4 nominasi yakni Best Kpop, Best Choreography, Best Metaverse Performance, dan Best Visual Effect. Ini membuat ketujuh member jadi grup Kpop dengan nominasi terbanyak.
Di kategori Best Choreography, BTS bersaing membawa pulang piala dengan Harry Styles, Doja Cat, FKA Twigs feat The Weeknd, Lil Nas X dan Jack Harlow serta Normani feat Cardi B.
Sementara itu Jack Harlow, Kendrick Lamar dan Lil Nas X berhasil menjadi musisi dengan raihan nominasi terbanyak dengan tujuh kategori di VMA 2O22. Disusul kemudian Doja Cat dan Harry Styles dengan 6 nominasi.
Bagi para penggemar yang ingin artis favoritnya membawa pulang piala MTV Video Music Awards 2022 dapat mulai melakukan voting dengan mengunjungi vote.mtv.com. Pemungutan suara ditutup Jumat, 19 Agustus 2022, kecuali untuk kategori artis baru terbaik.
